Post Jobs to Seek Services – Service Providers Bid on Jobs
The app concept is to build a marketplace connecting professional service providers with service buyers. Service seekers post their job details along with expected budgets, while service providers receive push notifications to bid on the jobs based on their location. A preference can be set to share job details with friends, friends of friends, or the general public.
Job Price Negotiation via Chat between Job Seekers and Service Providers
We integrated a third party chat software solution within the app as per the client’s business need, allowing service providers and job seekers to chat with each other and negotiate the price of the job before acceptance.
The client wanted a simple yet effective peer-to-peer hiring mobile app for connecting service seekers to service providers.
Since app development project documentation/RFP or listed features weren’t available, we meticulously studied each diagram to visualize and understand the app concept and document the scope of work from scratch.
Another challenge we faced was finding a cost-effective solution for integrating a rich chat tool for one-to-one peer conversation. We researched and concluded on a third party one-time payable chat solution that was promising enough to everyone.
The client approached Intuz mentioning the need to develop an app like WhatsApp, specifying the most important features in the app and needed developer capabilities.
Business development consultant (BDC) quickly acknowledged the client, executed the NDA as per the Client’s request and presented app development processes, business models, and technology options.
The client presented the whiteboard to the BDC with a thorough understanding of mobile app specifications. The BDC provided value-added suggestions for making the app better.
The BDC and the Technical Analyst (TA) prepared a proposal that included a detailed scope of work, project timelines, flexible payment milestones, contract agreement, and detailed technical specifications.
The Client was more than happy to accept the proposal, sign the agreement, and to kick start the project.
The foremost design challenge was that the available wireframes were insufficient with information, and therefore the app navigation and user experience needed scrutiny. We overcame the challenge by conducting brainstorming sessions between the Client and the Project Manager.
As the Client was very particular regarding the color, the size, and placement of elements, we were more than pleased to create beautiful designs exceeding the Client’s expectations.
We started the app design process by understanding the Client’s preferences concerning design. We shared our thoughts and suggestions so we could have a simple yet top-notch design, which stands out in the market and is the finest in the industry.
We first presented the design for the mobile app logo followed by the app UI screens with the same look and feel, covering all the required features and functionalities in an appropriate UI flow.
We presented all the screens to the Client and proceeded to the mobile app development phase upon his approval.
We continued with the process of introducing our Project Manager, as well as the Project Management System (PMS), to the Client. PMS is a system where all project-related communication is organized and stored on a single platform for smooth project execution and to avoid any communication gaps.
Regular weekly calls were scheduled with the Client on Skype/GoToMeeting to discuss the progress of the project and to remove any doubts or queries if any.
After approval of the app UI design by the Client, we started with the app development and testing. Since this project required third party software integrations, we provided support for communicating with third party vendors at the Client's request.
Internal and Client App Review
Upon completion of app design and development, the app was tested by our highly proficient QA team. We shared the QA-approved app builds with the Client for review, feedback, and approval. The client tested the app to their satisfaction and confirmed that we implemented the features and functionalities as per his expectations.
We prepared for the app launch phase where we confirmed the app launch checklist, including screen shots, descriptions, keywords, etc. and signed off the project. We submitted the app to the app stores, and the app went LIVE with the project transitioning to the app support and maintenance phase.
Intuz completed the app as per the client’s expectations and made Live on both the platforms for them to start the app marketing.
