Highlights
The USP of the concept was to offer a platform for the app users to identify the best hotels offering competitive rates and confirm the bookings on the fly by paying through credit cards.
We designed and developed iOS and Android Hotel Rooms Booking App solution with right strategies to meet the business objectives:
- Quick comparison of discounted rates from different hotels in Dubai
- Online hotel room booking with secured payment gateway integration
- Integration of advanced Hotel API for hotel searching, rating, review and more...
- Google Map integration to track nearest hotels from the user’s current location

Challenges
Before approaching Intuz, Client had hired another developer who wasn’t able to deliver the expected solution. The client anticipated Intuz develop a unique mobile app with focus on below core needs:
- Creation of a highly creative UI/UX designing with slick navigation patterns
- Dynamic app development for iOS and Android
- Third Party Hotel API integrations with advanced functionalities
- Features to create lists of Favourite Hotels, check Past Bookings, Current Bookings and more.
- Users can track nearby hotels from their existing locations in Dubai

Client Engagement
Upon receiving the inquiry, the business development consultant immediately called the Client and acknowledged his requirements.
The team scheduled another call with him to get a detailed understanding of his existing web solution that he was trying to build since last Six months (with the previous developer).
The team worked closely with the Client to plan development strategies, prepare BRD (Business Requirements Document) and bifurcate essential features. Additionally, the team suggested the Client for building robust backend system to meet the business objectives.
Intuz team performed extensive research to acquire competitive hotel room prices for all segments of hotels and provide seamless booking process.
Design Challenges
Client's first preference was to have a top notch and unique design with extraordinary creativity, trendy and slick UI navigation for users to have a classy feeling. Our UI experts came up with fresh UI design beating Client’s all business competitors.
Branding
Initially, Intuz team began by creating airplane icon theme in the blueprints of the app. These were then used to explore concepts for Go Dubai’s app icon.
App Icon
As Burj Al-Arab is a better-known identity of Dubai, we thought of incorporating a graphic illustration that goes with the app name. The golden color icon was suggested keeping the golden sands of Dubai in mind.
Design Process
After receiving client’s inputs, we shared our thoughts and suggestions to have a simple though top notch design that stands out.
The client had allowed us full freedom on colors and themes for our teams to create marvelous designs to give a unique touch.
We created the Logo first and then prepared the app screens with the same look and feel that covers all the required modules in an appropriate UI flow.
Execution
Intuz has a set of streamlined processes for efficient project execution, management, and delivery.
- Regular communications through Project Management Systems (PMS) where Client and Intuz Internal teams communicated with each other effectively on project discussions and updates.
- Weekly calls scheduled with the Client on Skype/GoToMeeting to discuss project progress.
- Technical assistance to the Client and communication with Third Party support team at Client’s request.
- Beta version delivery to Client with an implementation of modules and UAT for final review and feedback.
Development Process
We follow a systematic and objective-oriented development process with a well-planned approach.
The project gets handed over to a Project Manager (PM) with a Kick-off call where Client’s expectations are made clear to the PM.
PM starts with the analysis of the project specifications, sends design questionnaires and client deliverables checklist to get things completed in the timeline.
Implementation is a crucial period where we communicate with the Client on a weekly basis through PMS and scheduled meetings. We post updates on the PMS and request for Client’s feedback on a regular basis. Upon completion of the development phase, the app gets assigned to our expert QA team for internal review and then it gets shared with the client for their review and final feedback. Upon client’s approval, we submit the app to respective iOS and Android stores and make it LIVE.
This app is one of the best creations of Intuz as it contains delightful UI/UX along with hi-tech online hotel room booking and rate comparison functionalities. The app entices several other clients who insist Intuz to design, develop and implement apps with similar quality for their businesses.
The client is glad that he has received what Intuz promised him. The target audience widely accepted the app owing to its elegant UI, UX, and unique functionalities.
