WHAT WE BUILT
A Custom Load Board and Logistics Solution Built
Across Web & Mobile for the African Market
Web Application and Load Board
The web application serves as the central hub where shippers post loads and carriers find jobs – built to handle the matching and collaboration layer of the logistics workflow. The load board gives real-time visibility into available loads, routes, and shipment status across the network, keeping all three user types connected through a single system.
Mobile App with Role-Based Workflows
Three distinct user types – Carriers, Shippers, and Drivers – each needed their own workflow within the same mobile app. Role-based interfaces were designed and built for each, giving Carriers fleet management tools, Drivers job and route visibility, and Shippers the ability to post and manage consignments – all within one product tailored to a low-tech audience.
Shipment Management and Multi-Country Support
Shipment details, allocation status, and delivery information are all managed through a structured flow built into both the web and mobile apps. Multi-country support was built to cover operations across six countries in the African region, with country selection integrated directly into the onboarding and shipment flow.
Simplified UX for Low-Tech Adoption
The entire product was designed with accessibility at the forefront – built for an audience with limited technical experience across an underdeveloped region. Every interface decision was driven by the need for straightforward adoption.
eKYC Verification
eKYC verification was built into the onboarding flow to handle identity checks for carriers and drivers joining the network. The process was designed to be straightforward for users while giving the admin full control over verification from the backend.
Carrier Verification via Admin
A backend admin layer was built to give the client control over carrier verification and approval. Admins can review, verify, and manage carriers within the system.
Oil and Tanker Logistics Support
The solution was built specifically around the oil logistics niche, with tanker management built into the carrier workflow alongside standard truck and load management. The product was scoped and designed for the specific operational demands of oil transport across the African region.
End-to-End Build – Ideation to Deployment
Intuz led this project from the earliest discovery conversations through UI/UX design, development, and deployment. The blueprint was finalised across multiple iterations with the client before development began, keeping the build aligned with their business and technical objectives throughout.
Backend System Integration and Ongoing Support
Beyond deployment, the engagement covers ongoing backend system integration and continued development support. The client retains full control and flexibility as the product grows and integrates with broader operational systems.
