We built a listing system that lets doulas and birth professionals post their availability with location, budget range, and start date. Families browse these listings and respond directly to the ones that fit their needs – no back-and-forth outside the platform required.
From Search to Connection in One Place
We built a guided flow where families describe what they need – type of support, location, budget, and due date – and get matched with relevant professionals instantly. From that match, a family can message a doula or view their full profile without ever leaving the platform.
Guided Search and Matching
We built a guided search flow that walks families through selecting the type of support they need and surfaces matched professionals based on their inputs. The result is a filtered, relevant match rather than an open directory.
Professional Profile System
We built a profile system for doulas and birth professionals to list their specializations, years of experience, location, and families supported. A PRO+ verification layer was added to distinguish credentialed professionals within the marketplace.
In-App Secure Messaging
We built a messaging system that keeps all communication between families and professionals inside the platform. Every conversation is contained within a secure thread tied to the engagement – no external tools or contact sharing needed.
Job Listing and Status Management
We built a listing system that allows professionals to post their availability with location, budget, and start date. Status tracking was built in so both sides always know whether a position is active or filled.
Invoicing and Payment Processing
We integrated invoicing and payment processing directly into the platform, keeping transactions tied to each engagement. Families and professionals never need to leave the platform to send or receive payments.
Profile Access Authorization
We built access controls into both family and professional profiles, ensuring the right information is visible only to the right people. This was a core requirement given the sensitivity of healthcare data handled on the platform.
