The client needed a mobile platform to connect food lovers in Panama with independent home cooks offering freshly made meals. Intuz built Bite for iOS and Android – with dedicated flows for customers, cooks, and delivery partners, covering dish posting, order management, real-time tracking, and flexible delivery scheduling.

Cooks and Food Lovers End to End
A Complete Ordering Experience for Customers
We built the customer-facing flow to cover every step from discovery to delivery. Users can browse and save favourite dishes, view cook profiles, manage their cart with real-time totals, and see full order details including delivery address. The delivery schedule is set per meal type – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner – so customers always know when to expect their order based on what they have chosen.
A Dedicated Flow Built for Home Cooks
We built a separate cook-side experience that lets home cooks post dishes with photos, pricing, ingredients, quantity, and dietary tags – including Gluten Free, Spicy, Vegetarian, and Fit. Cooks can set their delivery schedule by meal type and choose which days of the week they are available. A queue management view shows all incoming orders broken down by status – Pending, Accepted, Shipped, and Delivered.
Cart Management with Credits
We built a cart system that lets customers add multiple dishes, adjust quantities, and see a running total with any applicable credits before checkout – giving customers a clear picture of what they are spending before they confirm.
Order Status Tracking
We built an order tracking flow that shows customers the live status of their order across each stage – from accepted through to shipped and delivered – directly within the app.
Payment with Pickup Location
We built the checkout flow to show the pickup location on a map alongside the order summary and payment method before the customer confirms, keeping the checkout experience clear and straightforward.
Dietary Tag Filtering for Dish Discovery
We built dietary tagging directly into the dish posting flow so cooks can flag their dishes as Gluten Free, Spicy, Vegetarian, or Fit at the point of listing – making it easy for customers with specific dietary needs to find suitable dishes.
Driver Management Flow
We built a dedicated delivery partner view within the platform to manage active deliveries alongside the customer and cook experiences – keeping all three sides of the marketplace coordinated within a single app.
Weekly Availability and Meal-Time Scheduling
We built a scheduling system that lets cooks define order cutoff times and delivery windows by meal type and set which days of the week they are available – so customers always see accurate availability when browsing.
