The client needed a minimalistic mobile marketplace where buyers could post what they want to buy and sellers could respond with offers. Sellers Simply and Directly
A Clean Product Browsing and Listing Experience
We built the product browsing experience around simplicity – buyers can post what they are looking for with a photo, category, and description, and the listing goes live immediately. Products are browsable in both grid and list view, with category and subcategory labels visible at a glance. Each product detail page shows how many sellers are interested, giving buyers an immediate sense of demand before they initiate any conversation.
Category-Based Seller Notifications
We built a notification system that alerts registered sellers the moment a buyer posts a requirement in their category. Sellers can view the product details and place an offer directly – without any manual searching or browsing required. The notification system keeps sellers engaged and ensures buyers receive relevant offers quickly rather than waiting for the marketplace to surface results organically.
Buyer-Seller Chat for Direct Negotiation
We built an in-app chat system that lets buyers and sellers communicate directly once a seller places an offer. Buyers can initiate a conversation with any interested seller, ask questions, negotiate on price, and agree on terms – all within the app without needing to exchange contact details.
OTP-Based User Verification
We built OTP verification into the registration flow so every buyer and seller on the platform is authenticated from the start. A verified user base keeps the marketplace trustworthy for both sides – sellers know they are responding to real buyers, and buyers know the sellers they chat with are registered and legitimate.
Photo-First Product Posting
We built the product posting flow around a single action – the buyer takes a photo of what they want, adds a category, and posts it. The listing goes live immediately and triggers notifications to relevant sellers without any additional steps, keeping the experience as frictionless as the client required.
