Challenges
Business & Operation Challenges
Problem 1
Real-Time Data at Scale
Jibu operates across multiple fuel stations, each generating continuous data on fuel levels, consumption, and stock movement. Managing and synchronizing this volume of live data without delays or errors was central to making the platform reliable.
problem 2
Simplifying a Complex Operation
The client’s business involved intricate workflows that were difficult to represent clearly in a digital interface. Intuz had to translate a highly complex fuel operation into an app experience simple enough for daily field use.
Problem 3
Cross-Station Data Synchronization
With stations spread across the country, keeping every location’s data aligned in real time was a core technical challenge. Any lag or mismatch in synchronization could directly impact fuel accounting and operational decisions.
Problem 4
Driver Checkpoint Tracking
Deliveries needed to be tracked at every checkpoint along the route to maintain accountability. Building a system that logged each driver’s movement accurately was essential to protecting against discrepancies in fuel delivery.
Problem 5
Preventing Fuel Theft
Fuel loss through theft is a known operational risk in large-scale distribution networks. The platform needed to provide verifiable tracking at every stage of delivery to give SGC Investments the visibility to detect and act on irregularities.
Solution Planning
Built to Handle Fuel Operations at Every Level
Start Fuel Dispensing Device
The physical dispenser connects to the platform via WebSocket, handling firmware operations, device onboarding, and price card updates. It also sends sales data, event data, and troubleshooting logs back to the system in real time.
API Server
The API server sits at the center of the communication layer, routing data between the dispenser devices, the database, and the portals. It ensures every transaction and device event is recorded accurately and made available across the platform.
Web Socket Server
The WebSocket server maintains a live two-way connection between the fuel dispenser devices and the platform. This keeps device communication continuous and ensures commands and data move without delay.
Notification Engine
The notification engine handles both email alerts and push notifications triggered by device or system events. Station managers and administrators are informed in real time when action is needed.
Jibu Hub Portal
The Hub Portal gives administrators control over subscriptions, SaaS customers, device management, device logs, price cards, and country and currency settings. It is the central management layer for the entire Jibu platform.
Company Portal
The Company Portal provides access to sales reports, general reports, user management, subscription details, and transaction records. It gives company-level operators the data they need to monitor and manage station performance.
Got a complex operation
that’s outgrown its current tools?
If your business has grown beyond what your current systems can handle, it’s time to build something better.
What We Planned and Built
Turning a Complex Operation
Into a Simple, Connected App
Jibu needed more than a mobile app – it needed a system that could handle the full weight of fuel station operations while remaining easy to use in the field.
Intuz approached this through a lean and elastic engagement that allowed the platform to grow and adapt as the client’s requirements became clearer.
Order, Dispatch and Readings – All in One Place
The platform tracks every fuel order from distributor to delivery – logging invoice numbers, fuel quantities, variances, and completion status in real time. From electronic pump readings to transporter details and banking reconciliation, station operators have everything they need in a single connected interface without switching between systems.
Built Around How Stations Actually Work
The platform was designed around the real daily routines of station operations – from role and permission based user management to shift sales reports, real-time digital readings, and authenticated fuel dispatch. Expense entries, customer access, and maintenance management are all handled within the same system, keeping every part of station operations connected and accountable.

Tools & technologies
What We Used to Build It
Jibu required a stack built to handle real-time fuel data, device communication, and multi-station synchronization.
What Our Client Says
We worked on a concept application with Intuz Group for Internal use within our company. Intuz are very impressive. We worked with the team for over a year on this project. They were exactly how we wanted. They executed the application as we intended and even better in some instances. The team was accessible, flexible, understanding of changes that we made once the project had taken off. We are extremely happy with what has been produced. It is still a work in progress and we are still working with Intuz Group on the same project in hopes of strengthening application stronger. I would recommend Intuz Group on similar projects.
